An email box is a storage space for electronic messages, where a user’s emails are received, stored, and organized. It includes folders such as Inbox and Sent, allowing for message management through email clients or web-based email services.
An email alias is an alternative email address that forwards messages to a primary email box, without requiring a separate account. It is used to protect the main address from spam and to organize incoming messages. For example, if your main email is gp@yourdomain.gr, an email alias could be support@yourdomain.gr or sales@yourdomain.gr.
