How to renew your domain

renewal

To give you one less thing to worry about, automatic renewal is enabled for your domain in your account. If you don’t change this setting, we’ll take care of the process and monitor all deadlines. When the time comes, your card is charged and your domain is renewed.

renewal

If you prefer to handle the process manually, log in to your control panel and go to the “Renewal” section. From there, follow the listed steps before your domain expires.

When should I renew my domain?

The expiration date of your domain appears in your control panel. You need to proceed with the renewal before the listed date!
If you’ve chosen manual renewal, below you’ll find the timeline of reminders and actions.

30 days before

You receive the first domain expiration warning email.

15 days before

You receive the second domain expiration warning email.

7 days before

You receive another email. Your domain will expire in one week.

5 days before

Your domain is nearing its expiration. You need to renew it immediately.





5 days after expiration

You can still renew without any additional cost.

Final cancellation

After this point, you permanently lose your domain.

Frequently asked questions

You can make payments at Papaki via PayPal, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Euroline), bank transfer, and Papaki credits. Learn more here.

No! Even if you renew before the expiration date, the duration of the service will not change. For example, if your domain expires on 31/12/2025 and you renew it on 20/12/2025, the new expiration date for a one-year renewal will be 31/12/2026.

The receipt is issued automatically at the end of the renewal process and sent via email within 30 days from the payment receipt (for real-time payments) or upon receiving the renewal order (for bank transfers).

Please ensure the billing email address you provided when registering with Papaki is still active.
Your receipts are also available in your control panel under “Account Management & Invoices” > “Receipt List.”

Note: It may take up to one month from the purchase date for the receipt to appear in the control panel.

You can log in to your control panel and go to the “Renewals” section.
If your domain is still listed among renewable or restorable services (with a higher fee), you can proceed with the payment and renew it in real time (via card or PayPal).

If you don’t see your domain listed there, the cancellation process has begun.
In this case, you may be able to re-register it—if you're fast enough—once it becomes available to the public again.

Most likely, you’ve either opted out of receiving emails from us or previously marked similar emails as spam.
It’s also possible that you're not checking the email address registered in our system. Make sure it’s up-to-date and monitored regularly.
